Aerial Silk is a modern aerial acrobatic art form that has captured the imagination of audiences worldwide. In recent years an increase in popularity has driven this seemingly impossible skill into the public eye and we are now proud to announce the start of classes within this new, adrenaline rushing, death defying , intensely creative art form. Aerial silk is a fun, creative way to increase strength, flexibility and stamina as you take to the skies and achieve the impossible. Our Classes are designed for people of all abilities. You do not need to have any aerial or gymnastics experience, nor do you need to be the worlds strongest! Our classes are not designed specifically for performers or athletes but the adventurous among us who want to challenge themselves in developing a unique skill whilst keeping fit. Come with an 'I can' attitude and mind ready for 90 minutes of fun and you will leave astounded at what you just did. The variety of wraps, twists, drops, and stunts are absolutely endless and will leave you feeling like you have done a full 24 hours work out at the gym! Who wants to go to the gym anyway? |

Introduction to Aerial Silk (Taster Session) -1 Hour. Ratio1:4 Maximum £20.00 per person
Want to embark on the Aerial Silks adventure? Not entirely sure if you are strong enough? Then this class if for you! This class introduces you to the aerial art form and gives you a little taster session of what you can expect to learn in the Aerial Silk courses. It gives you a chance to find out about your own abilities and too see if continuing on to Aerial Silks at level one is right for you.
We will look at various ways of climbing, locks and basic knot tricks. You will get an explanation of the Aerial Silks courses and have an opportunity to ask any questions.
Level 1- Aerial Silk (6 weeks – 90 minute sessions) Ratio: 1:4 £120.00 Per 6 week Course (£20 per 90minute session)
Throughout Level one you will get a solid foundation of the basics in Aerial Silk. You will work close to the ground as you build strength and stamina enabling you to later on continue at a higher height. We will look at different, creative ways of conditioning, climbing techniques, basic locks, and basic tricks. To be able to continue onto level two, you must demonstrate a good understanding and ability at level one. By the end of level one you will have a solid foundation of the basics of Aerial Silks.
Level 2- Aerial Silk (6 weeks – 90 minute sessions) Ratio: 1:4 £120.00 Per 6 week Course (£20 per 90minute session)
This course is over 6 weeks at six 1hour-90 minute classes per week (dependant upon amount of people). For students continuing on from Level one we will pick up on the conditioning techniques and build on skills that you have acquired at level one learning how to create sequences. Growing from your basic skills you will manipulate your body into slightly more advanced poses and wraps. We will start looking at basic drops. You will stay in the air for longer to build the required stamina needed at level three. To be able to continue onto level three, you must demonstrate a good understanding and ability at level two.
Level 3- Aerial Silk (6 weeks – 90 minute sessions) Ratio: 1:4 £120.00 Per 6 week Course (£20 per 90minute session)
This course is over 6 weeks at six 1hour-90 minute classes per week (dependant upon amount of people). It is for students who have completed level two with the ability to continue on at this level. At level three we will start looking at creatively compiling the skills you have learned as we add further dramatic drops to enhance your overall skill level. You will refer back to skills taught at level one and two to enable you to stay in the air for longer periods of time as you add them to sequences taught at level three.
Private Aerial Silk Classes Ratio: 1:1 £30.00 per 90 minute Session
Private classes are structured in Aerial Silk Level one, two and three in which you will progress at your own pace. Details of which can be found above. If you are uncertain of your abilities and would like to have a taster session before taking a private class, our Introduction to Aerial Silk class if for you!
