Lead climbing

DURATION 2 hr - Minimum RATIO 1:2 - £60 PER PERSON

Taking the steps from top rope belaying and climbing to lead climbing is a big step, and can be scary.

Our instructors will show you the differences in belaying lead climbers, and fully equip you with the knowledge you need to make the transistion to lead climbing as safely as possible. This session will include showing you how to clip the rope properly, avoiding backclipping and Z clipping (the most common problems when people start to lead climb).

Due to the nature of this course, we require two people for it to run.
