Cheeky Monkeys is our new club for 4 to 6 year olds. These sessions run at the same time as Crag Rats on a weekend but we have put on another instructor just for youngsters.

Crag Rats is our kids club, designed and aimed specifically at young people who wish to take up climbing seriously. We have now introduced the NICAS syllabus, a nationally accredited climbing award scheme to the Crag Rats Sessions. This enables each climber the chance to learn every aspect of climbing, from tying a simple knot, to belaying with various devices, to abseiling, and technique.

We have over 200 Crag rats who visit on a regular basis, some of which enter the annual BRYCS and the My Climbing Series climbing competitions held by The British Mountaineering Council.

It's a great way for kids to make friends with other like minded people and keep fit and healthy.

We run the Crag Rats club on Saturday and Sunday's, but spaces fill up quickly especially in the winter so it's best to book as far in advance as possible. It costs just £15 for an action packed two hour session, and we try to fit your child in a group with others of the same ability.
